3 New Orleans Saints to watch out for on Thanksgiving Day

Jared Cook
It is pretty much useless at this point to talk about a wide receiver like Tre’Quan Smith or Ted Ginn, Jr. to step up big so we are going to shift our focus to the tight end position.
Jared Cook is frequently third in receptions and yards behind only Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara as Drew Brees’ favorite targets.
When the Saints last played the Falcons, Cook caught six balls for 74 yards and no touchdown.
Since then, Cook has played the Buccaneers and the Panthers. In the game with the Buccaneers, Jared Cook only caught two receptions for 33 yards. Against the Panthers last week, Cook saw eight targets and caught six of them for 99 yards — almost breaking the 100-yard barrier.

6 receptions
99 receiving yards
1 touchdown
He might not be a WR. But he is what we need.
Jared Cook is really the wide receiver No. 2 for the New Orleans Saints. He still feels underutilized after what the expectations around Cook were to start the season.
It makes sense that for the passing game to thrive on Thursday that Jared Cook will need to be a big part of the offensive game plan. The last matchup with the Falcons, Cook exploited the Atlanta linebackers and he should be able to do it again.
Look for Cook to have more than six receptions and break the 100-yard mark.
