3 reasons the New Orleans Saints will dominate the Carolina Panthers

The 8-2 New Orleans Saints, at home and facing Carolina for the first time this season, should be able to put on a show against the 5-5 Panthers.
After an awful performance against the Atlanta Falcons and a bounce-back performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New Orleans Saints will line up on Sunday to take on the Carolina Panthers.
Currently 2-1 in NFC South competition, this will be the two team’s first matchup. They’ll reconvene in Week 17 which could just be a giveaway game for the Saints as they’ll potentially have a first-round bye locked up.
The Saints need this win as they’ll take on the Falcons, a team that’s already beaten them and then the 49ers in their next two weeks. However, there are a few silver linings as they head towards the home stretch, and one is the stellar play of their defense.
Although their offense has been putting points on the board, it’s been their defense that’s been winning games. Led by Demario Davis in the middle, Cameron Jordan upfront and a tag-team duo of Marshon Lattimore and Marcus Williams in the back, the Saints’ defense has been impressive.
And, for now, they’ve been less banged up than their star-studded offense. That said, let’s dive into three reasons why the New Orleans Saints will manhandle the Panthers at home on Sunday.
