New Orleans Saints: 1 stud, 3 duds from embarrassing loss to Falcons

The New Orleans Saints gained their second loss in week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons, let’s look and who performed and who underperformed in the loss.
In a rather disappointing loss to the 1-7 (now 2-7) Atlanta Falcons, the entire New Orleans Saints team was having a slow day. Throwing for only 287 yards and no touchdowns was a huge let down on the offensive side of the ball.
On the defensive side, the front line gave up 143 rushing yards, one of just a handful of such games this season. While all sides of the ball seemed to be lacking, there was one who stood out and kept his end of the bargain.
As a team, the Saints didn’t perform well, and it was rough to say the least.
The Saints only ran for 54 yards as well, the lowest this year. They totaled only 310 yards on the season, the fourth-lowest this season. The underperformance of this Saints’ team now raises questions of how durable they are for a Super Bowl run.
On the path to the Super Bowl, there is no room for games like these where turnovers are prevalent, and the first downs are few.
Here are a few players who underperformed and one who studded it out.
