For the first time this season, the New Orleans Saints will take on their NFC South rival, the Atlanta Falcons. This should be a blowout.

The Falcons have several top threats offensively, but their defense has just been lacking this season. For the New Orleans Saints, they should be able to exploit Atlanta’s pitiful defensive front and secondary.

Combined, the two teams are 8-8. However, the Saints have seven of those wins and are the second-best team in the NFC with a 7-1 record. Coming off a Week 9 bye, the Saints will have a great opportunity to regain their rhythm against Atlanta.

Although they haven’t lost since Week 2, taking a week off can sometimes be detrimental in terms of finding a rhythm. However, this team, being banged up, will also take an extra week. Tre’Quan Smith, Drew Brees, Jared Cook, and Alvin Kamara are all good to go and will be on the field Sunday.

There aren’t many major injuries on the Saints’ roster this upcoming week. Hopefully, that’s the way it’ll stay. With most of the key playmakers healthy, this will be the first time this year we’ve seen a fully-loaded Saints team.

Against a rival in Atlanta, if they win these three matchups, the game could be over before the first 30 minutes is complete. That said, let’s dive into the three most important two-player matchups.
