Tampa Bay

The Saints opened the second four games of the season with their first division game.

Tampa Bay came in at 2-2 and was coming off a stunning annihilation of the Los Angeles Rams where they scored 55 points. The Saints were having none of that. The Saints sacked Jameis Winston six times and only gave up 252 yards of total offense.

The game was a typical division game, relatively close even though Tampa Bay isn’t yet a very good team.

Tampa Bay was in the game until late even though the Saints outplayed them.

A late touchdown put the Bucs within a score of the Saints very late, but the new kicking rules make onside kicks very difficult to perform. The Saints in this game continued the defensive dominance they began with the Dallas Cowboys game.
