The trade deadline is under ten days away. Will the New Orleans Saints make any type of move in that timeframe? If they do, it’ll likely be for a receiver.

The New Orleans Saints need another weapon on the edge.

It’s not that they didn’t collect a quality amount of assets prior to the season’s commencement, but more because those weapons haven’t been on the field much. For Keith Kirkwood, he hasn’t been on the field at all.

The Saints’ No. 3 receiver, Tre’Quan Smith, has missed three games. No. 4 Kirkwood has been out. No. 5 Austin Carr has missed some time or just not been given snaps. That leaves the Saints’ backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater without many weapons.

Week 7 will be even more impressive of a victory as Bridgewater will be without Jared Cook and Alvin Kamara. As injuries mount, the Saints need players that are consistently on the field and have proven to be top-notch threats.

Who should they target though? Here are our top-five wide receiver targets for New Orleans.

Side note: These are a ranking, and this is the order that the Saints should consider these receivers. Also, these aren’t rankings are not a report. They do not back the views of the organization in any way.

That said, have fun with them and try to find the reasoning behind them.
