This has got to be to the Michael Thomas show if the Saints want to stand a chance. While they’ve hung in games due to their defense before, it’s certainly not ideal. For the Saints to score multiple touchdowns on Chicago, they’ll need an explosive performance from Thomas.

With no Cook and no Kamara, Thomas should get all the targets from Teddy Bridgewater, who will be doing his best to lead this team to 5-0 under his leadership. Thomas is just one week removed from one of the top performances of his career.

His Week 5 matchup against Tampa Bay was a dominant showing. He put up 182 yards and two touchdowns. That was his third game of the season with 12-plus targets. That said, you can expect him to see just as many or more targets in this game.

If there is one weakness in the Bears’ defense, it’s the secondary. The Bears are 11th in the league in opponent’s passing yards per game and just fifth in opponent’s rushing yards. The Saints need to alleviate the pressure on the run game through successful airstrikes.

If and when they do this, it’ll be Michael Thomas who is the main beneficiary. He’s primed to shine in Week 7.
