Football is back! That means that fantasy football is also back. As a New Orleans Saints fan, knowing where to draft your favorite Saints is a must.

If you haven’t already drafted your team and are in a league, chances are you’ll be drafting tonight or the near future. Did you get a New Orleans Saints star player? Did you take a chance on a sleeper that may be on the defense or receiving corp?

As one of the most dominant teams in 2018, ending with a record of 13-3, the Saints will look to repeat their immense success in 2019. They’ll do so by combining a terrific, high-powered offense with an elite, stout defense.

They’ll be captained by future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees. Not an elite fantasy option, Brees is still going to be a successful season as the unanimous leader of a top-five offense.

His weapons are what will be more valuable in the fantasy realm.

Wide receiver Michael Thomas and running back Alvin Kamara are the two Saints that could easily be taken in the first round of any draft. Jared Cook and the Saints dynamic, turnover-causing defense should also be selected at some point.

But, when? When do you want to take your favorite Saints off the board? Did you get value for your pick or will you be regretting taking a fan-favorite so early?

That said, let’s dive into some realistic expectations for those that have drafted while also previewing each player and taking a look at when to draft them. Also, you’ll get to hear the most unfortunate story of my fantasy draft.
