Snubbed: Michael Thomas, 84 Overall

This is bad. I mean, really bad. The disrespect is overwhelming. Thomas earned a PFF grade of 89.0 in 2016, making him PFF’s fifth ranked receiver. Yet, Thomas’ 84 overall rating puts him tied for the 34th best receiver in Madden. Really?

In 2016 Thomas reeled in 92 receptions for 1,137 yards and 9 touchdowns. Let’s compare that to some of the receivers Madden rated at or above Thomas’ 84 overall rating:

Detroit’s Marvin Jones Jr. (84 OVR): 55 receptions, 930 yards, 4 touchdowns

Arizona’s John Brown (84 OVR): 39 receptions, 517 yards, 2 touchdowns

Carolina’s Kelvin Benjamin (85 OVR): 63 receptions, 941 yards, 7 touchdowns

I think you get the picture.
