At #4 the Saints play  Washington Redskins at home Nov.19th. This game will come in week 11, although this game will be the 10th game on the schedule. Some background on the Redskins:

  • The Skins finished 8-7-1 in 2016.
  • Total offense was ranked 3rd in 2016 with 403.4 yards per game
  • Watch out for a kid named WR Robert Davis from Georgia St.

The Washington Redskins are a hard team to pin down. Two winning seasons in a row, yet not many are convinced that this team is ready to take the next step. Their defense was simply awful last year giving up nearly 24 points a game. As a result, the pressure was on the offense. Sounds familiar?

The Skins made that point known by drafting TWO defensive players from Alabama. DE Jonathan Allen and LB Ryan Anderson join the team as promising rookies. That being said, the Saints should have enough firepower to pull this one out.  Additionally, this is another NFC game that the Saints may need for a tiebreaker to clinch a playoff berth. The Saints should win this one.
