In recent years New Orleans Saints wide-outs have reaped the rewards of Sean Payton’s offensive system and Drew Brees’ passing prowess.

In 2016, Willie Snead was 105 yards away from the team boasting a trio of 1000 yard receivers (along with Michael Thomas and Brandin Cooks). But who would be considered the top 5 receivers in New Orleans Saints history?

Interestingly enough, the 5 players included on this list each had distinct differences between their playing styles and athletic abilities.

Whether they were taking the top off a defense, muscling for a high ball, running the perfect route or roughing up the cornerback across from them, they all showed greatness.

As it currently stands, there are no Saints receivers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Though it feels like it’s only a matter of time before that changes. In fact, questions have already been posed as to whether or not Joe Horn deserves consideration for enshrinement.
