Who Dat Nation is sure to salivate over the 12-4 prediction no doubt. Regrettably, the other 12-4 team just barely squeaks out a tiebreaker over the Saints to win the NFC South. All things considered, the Black and Gold faithful would be exceedingly happy with the 12-4 finish. Even if that means a Wild Card berth.

If you’re wondering when the last time two teams finished 12-4 in the same division, look to the AFC West last year. Both the Raiders and Chiefs finished at 12-4. In 2017, the NFC South is gonna be the premier division. Strangely enough, the Falcons haven’t even been mentioned as of yet.

For the Saints though, to reach 12-4 is all about the first six games. Four of those six teams made the playoffs last year. That is the meat of the schedule. If the Saints can ride that part of the schedule without imploding, the back end of the schedule sets up very favorably.
