Monday Night Football for the Black and Gold has been filled with many memories. Some of them have brought fans to the highs of elation, and others that were mere torment.

The good thing is, that most of these memories were celebratory. However, it’s only fitting that there is at least one flashback of coming up just short. All these memories good or bad is simply a part of all of us forever, even the bad ones. Strangely enough, coming through in 2009 to win the Super Bowl was that much sweeter, going through all the trials and tribulations of being a Saints fan.

There’s a little snippet in here about a certain personal experience that has only happened to me on a Monday Night Football game about 30 years ago. That will add to the unique feel, of truly being a part of the New Orleans Saints for over 40 years. Regardless, there’s nothing like the excitement of playing on Monday Night Football. Here’s a little throwback intro from 1990.

Of Course, this year the Saints open up on MNF which is even more exciting. Now for the full countdown from #5 to the top game. It’s been a long time since the Black and Gold opened up on Monday. But it’s our time in 2017, and here’s a list to reminiscence on.
