The Saints finish the halfway point at 5-3 and roll into the softest part of their schedule. Three of the next four teams had losing records last year. The Washington Redskins were the only one with a winning record of 8-7-1. Presumably, the Saints will be favorites in at least three of these four games.

In any case, the Saints go on the road to face a young and upcoming Buffalo Bills team. The Bills have made some improvements recently. Their offense was ranked in the top 10 last year. In addition, the Bills ranked #1 in rushing with 164 yards per game. RB Lesean McCoy was a huge part of that with 1,267 yards on 234 carries. No doubt, that there’s always a chance that weather could play a factor as well. The game is in November, so there’s a chance to see a few flakes. The bigger factor may be the wind that cause havoc for visiting teams.

The Saints defense will have a tough time stopping the high octane offense. That being said, the Saints get all three running backs running through holes all over the field. Saints win a rare one by keeping the ball on the ground.

Final: Saints 31 Bills 24
