So close for the Dirty Birds. Most of the nation believed that the game was over when the Falcons had a 25 point lead. The team overachieved last year by going to the Super Bowl. However, the loss had to sting badly.

The challenge will be can they bounce back? It’s hard to say since a lead of that magnitude has never been blown before in Super Bowl history. That being said, there are a lot of good things going for the Atlanta Falcons. The defense played exceptional with four rookies starting. Dan Quinn has this team way ahead of schedule.

Being a team that has gone to the Super Bowl just a year ago gives them plenty of options in the draft. There are needs for sure. The Falcons could use some help on the line on both sides of the ball. Also, their secondary still is pretty terrible rating at 28th last year.

Here are the needs going into the draft:

OL, DL, CB

The Falcons only have six picks as their sixth round pick will go to the Tennessee Titans.

1.) Tre’Davious White CB LSU

2.) Montravius Adams DT Auburn

3. Noah Brown WR Ohio St.

4.) Brandon Langley CB Lamar

5.) Dan Skipper OL Arkansas

7.) Bryan Cox Jr. DE Florida
