New Orleans Saints: Dean Mullen’s Mock Draft 4.0 (Defense Rules)

Defensive End Tanoh Kpassgnon is one of the only guys that I’ve had consistently in all my mocks. Of course, Kpassgnon is projected somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd round right now. This uncertainty makes it more challenging to try and make sure he gets drafted by the Saints. So much can happen after the second round.
The stats are mind blowing for 2016. he had 45 tackles and 21.5 of them was for a loss. Incredibly, Tanoh also had 11 sacks and a forced fumble too. Some of the scouts will knock him for the lack of competition at Villanova but make no mistake, the guy is NFL ready.
At 6-foot-6 and 280 lbs. offensive linemen will be always looking up to him. Plenty of NFL personnel were watching him closely at the Senior Bowl just recently including me. The only knock on him is he is a bit raw. Get this too. He’s the son of a chemical scientist and economist. Kpassgnon didn’t just take the easy classes in college. He had a double major in finance and accounting. This combo makes him unique and special. There’s no one like him in the draft. He’s more than worth the third pick if the Saints can acquire him.
