JACKSONVILLE, FL – OCTOBER 29: Jarrad Davis
JACKSONVILLE, FL – OCTOBER 29: Jarrad Davis /

This pick was a bit more complex and tight between two linebackers. However, in the end, Davis clipped Anthony Walker Jr. to be the drafted by the Saints.

Jarrad Davis from Florida is simply the guy that can set the tone for the Saints’ defense in 2017. He’s aggressive, physical, and loves the contact. Davis can also work side to side like a cheetah and is also very reliable in coverage.

He’s like a knife cutting through melted butter when slicing through through oncoming blockers. Davis averaged 80 tackles the last couple of years at Florida including 17 for losses. Playing in the SEC obviously is great preparation for the NFL. He’s simply a coaches dream that will put fear into offenses. Davis is a firecracker that keeps on popping. This pick is money.

Davis can come in right away and start contributing and making plays. Who Dat Nation is gonna LOVE seeing this Florida Gator playing for the Black and Gold.
