For the next five of six picks, the Saints will draft defensive help. Cornerback Adoree Jackson from USC will be one piece that will improve the play in the secondary. In addition, Jackson can return kickoffs and punts. Jackson scored on eight TD’s in three season for the Trojans. The Black and Gold could use some of that mojo to flip the field.

Jackson is lightning fast. He was at the Olympic trials last Summer as a long jumper. He’s a freakish athlete. Also, he’s got the instinctive know how of when to break on the ball when it’s in the air. That’s where the money is. Although he’s a bit undersized, his tackling skills are way above average. He logged 55 tackles last year. Add that with five interceptions and a fumble recovery. Jackson is the best 2 for 1 package cornerback out there.

His challenge will be with larger recievers. That being said, look at what CB Darrell Green with the Redskins over a 20 year period. He was only 5-foot-8 and most would agree he did OK!
