Who Dat Nation may be a tad shocked with this selection. Though this may be, just WAIT. Zach Cunningham is a beast. Linebackers and the word Vanderbilt usually doesn’t exactly make your hair stand up straight. On the other hand, a player like Zach Cunningham may never come around Vandy again.

Coach Derek Mason had this to say about Cunningham:

"“If you can find a better defensive player in the SEC or in college football, show him to me. Richard Sherman was one of the smartest players I’ve ever coached. I think Zach Cunningham falls into that realm of guys who can take it from the class to the grass and put it in game situations and be big.”"

Cunningham stands at 6-foot-3 weighing about 234 lbs. He is simply a man that is always around the ball. The instincts are like no other. He is best when he’s allowed to roam around like a rabid dog. Cunningham has a knack for the ball and creating turnovers.

He is also excellent at shedding off blockers and making tackles. Furthermore, his ability to drop back in coverage and able to locate the ball is very instinctual as one can see in this tape.

The Black and Gold will be fortunate if Cunningham will still be on the board at #32.
