New Orleans Saints: Top 5 Free Agents From Super Bowl LI

The Saints will be looking for a no nonsense running back either through the draft or free agency. Brandon Bolden could be the guy that would fill the void. Bolden hails from within an hour of New Orleans at Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge. Les Miles missed out on this local kid, but Ole Miss was happy with that.
Bolden would work into the starting role in his sophomore year at Ole Miss before fracturing his ankle. Since that occurrence, his performance would suffer post injury. Bolden was not drafted out of college. He would end up signing as a free agent with the Patriots in 2012.
Bolden is a solid back with excellent hands that can help the Black and Gold with the running game. Nevertheless, Bolden may be acquired for a low salary, which can help counteract any high end additions the Saints may add. Regardless, Bolden comes from a team that is very picky on signing free agents. The work has been done by the Patriots. Hopefully, the Saints will take a look here as well.
