The Saints start off 2-0 with a thrilling 34-31 victory in overtime against the Green Bay Packers. Drew Brees tossed 4 TDs and Wil Lutz hits the game winner as time expires. The Saints continue to look dominant after last week’s shredding of the Jets 41-10.

Next week, the Saints will face their first NFC South Division game. The Carolina Panthers will come into town desperate looking for their first win. After the Panthers, the Saints will head to Tampa to close out the first quarter of the season. Getting out of the gate early has been an issue the last few years. On the whole, the 2-0 start feels really good.

The key will be how does this team react to winning? This may seem a little precarious, but this is new territory for this young Saints team. Surely, Sean Payton has been here before. Payton knows how to take a team all the way through the season to a championship. His steadfast leadership along with Wade Phillips will be the rock that’s needed as the season continues.
