The Saints were beyond lucky this past Sunday, but it doesn’t really matter. The Black and Gold sit at 1-3 and have reason to hope. The Saints have been oh so close in the two of three losses to the Raiders and the Giants. They lost by a combined four points in those games. The Saints go into the bye week with a lot of hope and momentum. The defense is still shaky at best. However, some of these younger defensive backs are growing up in a hurry. The main problem is cutting down on the mistakes when the game is on the line.
