Mark Ingram

Now Ingram hasn’t played bad throughout the first two games. The story for Ingram this season has been the lack of opportunities. Ingram has only carried the ball 21 times. That is unacceptable for a back like Ingram. He should be averaging about 15-20 carriers per game to be successful.

Giving Ingram more touches should help the offense and bring stability. Passing the ball on every play makes the offense predictable and the opposing defense can easily adjust.

Hopefully we will see more of Ingram this week and hopefully he will perform when he gets the chance. If he can get it going, the offense could become unstoppable.
