Ken Crawley

Life as a Saints has not been easy for the underrated Colorado product. It all went well for him in training camp, but he didn’t look nearly as good in preseason games. He did pick it up throughout the games, but it was clear he wasn’t going to start for the team.

Now Dennis Allen has been forced to put him on the field because of the Delvin Breaux injury. He really struggled in week 1 and gave up a 100% completion into his coverage. Week 2 was a bit better, but Crawley still gave up the biggest play of the game. The Saints had Giants in a 3rd and long, but Crawley went for the interception and ended up giving up a 1st down to Victor Cruz.

This week, Crawley will have to improve big time. For the defense to work without their two best cornerbacks, guys have to step up and Crawley is no different. Look for him to step up his game Monday.
