Davis Tull, Edge Rusher

After being picked by the Saints in the 5th Round of the 2015 NFL draft, Davis Tull not only had his eyes on a roster spot, but also on an active role for the defense. After the departure of Junior Galette, the outside linebacker spot was up for grabs and Tull seemed like the perfect guy to help fill the void left by the former sack artist. Unfortunately for Tull and the Saints, he had to sit out his entire rookie season with a shoulder injury.

So for Tull, training camp should be the perfect place to show what he can do. Lucky for him, the Saints are in desperate need for a guy with his skill set. That’s even more so after Hau’oli Kikaha suffered what seems to be a season-ending ACL tear, which left the defensive end spot open. He will have to battle with Obum Gwacham, Bobby Richardson, and also the newly acquired veteran Darryl Tapp.

We all look forward to see what Tull can do, and hopefully he can help the defense improve in the pass-rushing department, as they work toward a better season in 2016.
