Coby Fleener, Tight End

After three years with the Indianapolis Colts, Coby Fleener signed a 5-year, $36 million contract with the New Orleans Saints. He cashed in after never really breaking out in Indianapolis. He looked promising in 2014 with 774 yards and 8 touchdowns, but he followed that up with a disappointing 2015 season with 491 yards and 3 touchdowns.

So after never really living up to the high expectations set for him as he played with his former college teammate Andrew Luck, Fleener made the decision to join the black and gold. A decision that makes plenty of sense, since they managed to get 725 yards and 6 touchdowns out of 35-year-old Benjamin Watson. To be fair, Watson made some excellent catches, but Drew Brees and Sean Payton have helped any tight end to succeed in the explosive offense they have run since 2006.

So, what can Fleener do in 2016? He will without a doubt have his share of targets. If he can make the tough contested catches, then he could put up career-high numbers. Can he put up Pro Bowl numbers? With Drew Brees at quarterback and Sean Payton calling the plays, he will definitely have the opportunity.
