7 New Orleans Saints Players who could make the Pro Bowl in 2016

Brandin Cooks, Wide Receiver
Saints fans where waiting for Brandin Cooks to break out in 2015, and in some ways he did. Cooks had 1,138 yards and 9 touchdowns. That’s pretty strong numbers for any receiver, but many fans still sat with the feeling that is was only the beginning.
Until Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Cooks did not have a single touchdown. Through the first seven weeks of the season, Cooks only had one touchdown and 35 receptions. It wasn’t until Week 8 that we really got to see what Cooks could bring to the table. He caught two of Drew Brees’ seven touchdowns, and was a constant threat to the New York Giants secondary.
For the rest of the season, Cooks showed his ability to be a vertical threat and catch passes in traffic. He should carry this momentum into 2016, where he could face more single coverage because of the arrival of Coby Fleener and Michael Thomas. If Cooks continues his late season form from 2015, then he could have over 100 receptions and 10 touchdowns to make a big case for the Pro Bowl.
