Round 7, Pick 16

After the past few years, it has become obvious that the New Orleans Saints need someone they can count on to kick field goals. They’ve looked at every veteran twice just about every offseason. They could try drafting Fairbairn.

Fairbairn is the first Bruin to score 100 points or more in each of his four seasons. He has a strong leg and is a dual threat as he forces touchbacks on kickoffs about 70% of the time.

He was 2/3 from 50 yards or deeper, which included a 60 yard field goal. He is accurate and consistent from 40 yards or closer. His ability makes him a lock for a job in the NFL.
