Round 5, Pick 13

The New Orleans Saints should target a receiver in this draft and I was really stuck between Michael Thomas from Southern Mississippi and Michigan’s Aaron Burbridge. They both run about the same speed, are about the same height, but Burbridge turned out the top performance in strength for all receivers.

Burbridge is a pretty good route runner and is eager in blocking in the run game; but I’m not in love with his hands. Thomas isn’t the best route runner, but is able to make big plays and has a high motor.

Neither of these guys are complete players, but the Saints would do well with either of them in the fifth round.

Next: Round 7
