2016 NFL Mock Draft: All-time New Orleans Saints players edition

42.
The 49ers are a mess right now and it doesn’t seem like they will be cleaned up any time soon. You need not look farther than the quarterback situation. At the beginning of the season, Colin Kaepernick would have been considered one of the better young quarterbacks in the league. By the end of the year, it seemed a certainty that he would be released after a disastrous season. Now, weeks before the draft, the 49ers are driving a hard bargain with the Broncos in a potential trade. It is baffling. Archie Manning has seen worse situations, believe it or not, and he could actually help turn the 49ers around much faster than people think is possible.
. QB. Ole Miss. Archie Manning. 7. player

WR. Itawamba Community College (MS). Joe Horn. 8. player. 54.
The Eagles have done an exceptional job cleansing themselves of Chip Kelly’s mistakes, but one mistake they have not recovered from is his letting Jeremy Maclin walk away. They invested their first-round pick last year in Nelson Agholor who was very disappointing in his rookie year. Jordan Matthews took a big step back, and Josh Huff wasn’t any good. Suffice it to say, the Eagles need someone for Sam Bradford/Chase Daniel/rookie quarterback to throw to. Joe Horn is a true No. 1 receiver with a personality that would thrive in the City of Brotherly Love.

player. 48.
The Buccaneers are in the market for a pass rusher. Gerald McCoy and Jacquies Smith led the team in sacks last year, and outside of them, there was hardly any pass rush. Danny Lansanah and Bruce Carter were starting linebackers for them last year. It’s no surprise their defense was not very good. Pat Swilling would take the defense to another level. He is flexible enough to play the strong side linebacker position or put his hand in the dirt and rush similar to Von Miller. Even if the scheme fit is not perfect, it never hurts to have a former Defensive Player of the Year on your team
. LB. Georgia Tech. Pat Swilling. 9
