We’re inching closer and closer to the 2016 NFL Draft, as we’re less than three weeks away. A lot of theories and thoughts are floating out there around how the New Orleans Saints will attack. While some of those are clever enough in itself, the reality is that no one honestly knows how the team will draft.
With six draft picks heading into April 28, the black and gold must make the most of their selections. While free agency isn’t necessarily over for the Saints, we now have a pretty good idea of how they could possibly attack all three days of the draft by the moves they’ve made.
We look at a full seven-round mock draft for the New Orleans Saints. If you didn’t recall, the team is without their 2015 sixth-round pick, which was used to acquire cornerback Damian Swann. Before we dive in completely, here’s a brief recap of the my previous three mocks.
Mock 1.0 (The ‘Way Too Early’ Edition): DeForest Buckner, Jarran Reed, Hunter Henry, Roberto Aguayo, Rees Odhiambo, Steve Longa
Mock 2.0 (The ‘Still Early’ Edition): Myles Jack, Jarran Reed, Christian Westerman, Roberto Aguayo, Maurice Canady, Matt Judon
Mock 3.0 (The ‘Early’ Edition): Laquon Treadwell, Vernon Butler, Landon Turner, Jaylon Smith, Matt Judon, Ross Martin
