The New Orleans Saints are currently set to pick No. 12 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. We take a look at another pair of defensive tackles in our final ‘Clash of the Titans’ draft profile installment.

In our first installment we looked at the player who likely has the highest physical upside of any defensive lineman in this draft in Andrew Billings. We also looked at the defensive tackle who has the highest floor in Jarran Reed.

Before I declare who I believe the New Orleans Saints should select at 12 if they decide to go with the interior defensive line first, there are a couple of other names that must be discussed.

While it has been consistently the move made by many members of the media to choose A’Shawn Robinson out of Alabama for the Saints, fans have often chosen Sheldon Rankins out of Louisville. Like in our first posting, this one is about comparing opposites. In this case, it’s the mammoth size and power of Robinson, versus the agility and savvy of Rankins.
