5 underrated free agents that should be on the New Orleans Saints radar

Brian Quick
The New Orleans Saints could be in the market for a veteran receiver for 2016, and Brian Quick is a player that possesses a combination of speed and height. While Quick struggled last season with the now Los Angeles Rams, it wasn’t exactly his fault that the quarterback play was so inconsistent. Quick is somewhat a victim of his own environment, as the Rams aren’t necessarily known for being a strong team that develops wide receivers. You also have to remember that the team relied heavily on running back Todd Gurley.

The former second round, 33rd overall pick of 2012 had some memorable flashes in his four seasons with the Rams. Overall, he was inconsistent and underwhelming. Quick was targeting only 32 times in 2015, but had 39 total targets in just seven games when he broke out in 2013. Quick may not be the flashy addition like a Mohamed Sanu, Marvin Jones, or Travis Benjamin, but could flourish with the Saints and having a more than stable option at quarterback.
