NFL free agency is set to begin on March 9th, which is just one short week away.

The New Orleans Saints enter this year’s free agency with many questions of their own. For starters, how will the team keep chipping away to help create some room with the league’s $155.27 million salary cap? Will Drew Brees get a contract extension to help the Saints makes plays in free agency? What is the future of veteran right tackle Zach Strief? Who else is potentially on the chopping block?

The answers to some of the select few questions many fans have should be answered sooner than later. Generally speaking, free agents are brought in to improve a team. However, we’ve quickly learned through the past two seasons that it can be the exact opposite. Overall, it’s been a huge miss.

As we break into March, it’s time to look back on some of the names who have come through New Orleans in the Sean Payton era.
