New Orleans Saints Mock Draft: Black and Gold Reloaded

Round 3, Pick 78
Yes, another defensive player. If you watched the New Orleans Saints defense last year, then you know why. Bronson Kaufusi is a flashy player and sometimes makes outstanding plays, but sometimes you don’t really notice him. However, the guy has a motor and never gives up.
He’s a tall and long pass rusher who is not afraid to hit someone. Standing at 6-foot-6, 285 pounds, he is a load from the end position. You can really see how long he is when he sheds blocks and how athletic he is when he comes off the edge.
He is a former basketball player and his dad is a defensive line coach. Both are huge pluses when it comes to scouting a player. Sometimes Kaufusi drops in coverage and gets lost, but I would expect him to stay on the line of scrimmage and just rush the passer most of the time.
I think he could help the defensive line at rushing the passer and at run stuffing. A big, athletic, and high-motored defensive end who has a lot of different pass rushing moves and doesn’t shy away from contact is exactly what the New Orleans Saints need to help their defense get better.
