The NFL Draft is two months away and the NFL Combine is underway.  The combine this year is very important for the New Orleans Saints, not just to see how athletic and intelligent the players are, but a big part of it will be medicals.

A few first round picks that the Saints could be looking at have medical problems, and they need to see where they’re at in their recovery.  The 2015 draft class was a great one, but they have to keep building on it and help surround those players with other talents.

I’m expecting this draft class to be defensive heavy with a couple of offensive players.  The defense needs a lot of help and this draft’s deepest positions are defensive tackle and defensive ends, which is a good thing for the New Orleans Saints.

Obviously a lot can change with free agency and the combine still to come, but I wanted to give my seven-round mock draft that I think would really help the Saints become that playoff contender that every fan wants.
