5 more free agents that should be on the New Orleans Saints radar

Ladarius Green
The New Orleans Saints don’t have any of their 2015 tight ends returning in 2016, at least right now. Josh Hill, who is a restricted free agent, figures to be the easiest choice for the Saints to bring back. However, Ben Watson deserves a second look assuming he wants to play another season. Outside of that, the team does have some unproven talent on the roster with Jack Tabb, RaShaun Allen, and Chris Manhertz.
Ladarius Green needs an opportunity to shine, and New Orleans could be the place to do it in. There’s typically needs to be a block first mentality with Sean Payton at the helm, and that’s nothing that Green is a stranger to. Green led the San Diego Chargers in snaps last season with 686 total, and got the nod as the leading run blocker. Green did have to deal with a bothersome ankle injury, which eventually placed him on season-ending injured reserve at the end of December.
There’s little to no question that Green’s size and skills will be highly desired on the open market.
