Observations from the 2016 Senior Bowl, Day Two

By John Sigler

Throughout practice I noticed Dan Campbell, the New Orleans Saints new tight ends coach and co-assistant head coach, keeping tabs on the tight end prospects.
It makes a lot of sense for him to not only scout his specialized position group due to his experience, but in light of all three active roster tight ends from 2015 not being under contract for 2016.
If the Saints add a tight end, Iowa graduate Henry Krieger-Coble would be a good fit. He was easily the best blocking tight end in town, making Penn State defensive end Carl Nassib’s life miserable at times. Krieger-Coble (6-foot-3, 248-pounds) made an impressive catch down the seam early in practice as well.
