3. Best Threat: WR Brandin Cooks

Brandin Cooks took a massive leap forward from his rookie season.  Speed, shiftiness, versatility, and excellent hands make him one of the biggest threats at wide receiver in the National Football League in his second year, and certainly the biggest threat on the New Orleans Saints.

He led the team in catches (84), yards (1,138) and receiving touchdowns (9).  There was no ‘sophomore slump’ for Cooks after he installed himself into the offense as Drew Brees’ go-to man.

With the skill set, professionalism both on and off the field, and a winner’s work ethic, Brandin Cooks is indeed everything the Saints were hoping for when they traded up to select him in the first round (20th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.  The best part is he seemed to get better and better as the season progressed, which is why he is my third-ranked player on the 2015 offense.
