3.25 pm CT Seattle Seahawks (9-6) at Arizona Cardinals (13-2)
Bruce Arians stated that Arizona would not rest its starters, trying to clinch home field advantage in the NFC playoffs. Seattle needs a win here to ensure they get to play the Redskins in the wildcard round. If you like deep shots, sacks, aggressive playcalling and division foes going at each other, this is your game. Enjoy!
Carolina Panthers (14-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-9)
Ron Rivera will not rest his starters against the Bucs, having to win in order to clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Tampa has barely anything to play for, their chances in this one are slim and they are known for tanking (you correctly remember their tackles not getting out of their stance last year in the own end zone).
St. Louis Rams (7-8) at San Francisco 49ers (4-11)
Another season comes to a close and once again, a Jeff Fisher lacked consistency and finished very close to .500. The Rams still boast a great defense but horrible personnel management on offense resulted in a horrible offensive line, no quarterback to speak of and revolving doors at wide receiver. San Francisco meanwhile needs a rebuild and a top five pick would go a long way towards that. Cutting ties with the unreliable Colin Kaepernick is a must these days and so is a good draft.
