Ben Watson

The team has all three of their tight ends set to hit some form of free agency in 2016, as Josh Hill is a restricted free agent and Michael Hoomanawanui will also be an unrestricted free agent with Benjamin Watson. Naturally, there are some players on the team’s practice squad and injured reserve list that will come back: Jack Tabb (IR), Chris Manhertz (practice squad), and potentially Rashaun Allen. Allen was recently called up to the active roster.

Assuming he wants to return for a 13th season, Ben Watson could easily be reunited with the Saints in 2016. Watson has career highs in catches (68) and receiving yards (766), showing that age is only a number. Having just turned 35 earlier in December, there is still a lot Watson has to offer.
