Cornerback Keenan Lewis and the rest of the secondary needed help last year in pass coverage. The New Orleans Saints wisely brought in Canadian football league player and New Orleans native Delvin Breaux.
In his first season, Breaux has committed his share of mistakes and blunders just like anyone would in their first year in a new job. He has 34 tackles, 13 pass defended, and an interception this season.
He’s also one of top 20 corners in the league in run stop percentage and overall coverage efficiency (how many receptions he allows when he is the primary man in coverage)
Breaux will only continue to get better and that is exactly what the New Orleans Saints need.
