Running back Mark Ingram had the hot hand in Indy, rushing for a season-high 143 yards and finding the end zone once.  Thanks to the help of his offensive line led by Terron Armstead, Ingram finally broke out after being hyped up all preseason.

There’s no telling why the New Orleans Saints gave up on the run at the end of the game with Drew Brees struggling a bit.  As long as Ingram is doing his part plowing through defenses, he must be fed the rock.

Until Sunday, the Saints have had issues getting the ball moving on the ground.  Ingram looks to keep that momentum going heading into Sunday’s contest back home with the New York Giants.
