2. Cam Jordan

After having what was perhaps the best game of his career a week ago, New Orleans Saints’  Cam Jordan had another monstrous performance Sunday, racking up two sacks.  He has five sacks in the last two games and is tied for second in the NFL with six.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jordan grades as the No. 1 overall defensive end in the league.  He’s quickly becoming one of the best at his job in an effort to help mold this young defense into something special.

So far, so good.  With the help of Jordan, Rob Ryan’s sprouting defense is coming together much quicker than expected.  The defensive captain looks to continue his solid play for the remainder of the season, hopefully earning his second trip to the Pro Bowl at the end of the year.
