Brandon Browner finds himself in an interesting position. After winning a Super Bowl with two different ball clubs over the past two seasons, Browner brings the Saints a presence that simply hasn’t been there before in the secondary.

What do I mean by that? Browner is a very tall cornerback at 6-foot-4. He’s a physical bump-and-run style of defender, and exhibits versatility by lining up in the slot. He knows his position, and knows what it takes to succeed.

Wide receiver Joe Morgan said it best when talking about what else Browner brings to the table, when he spoke of the wide receivers having the opportunity to go up against a bigger, physical corner everyday.

Above anything else, Browner brings discipline, accountability, and leadership to the Saints defense, something that was clearly lacking last year.
