Delvin Breaux isn’t exactly your well-known player around the NFL. However, his back story is incredible. To think that someone like Breaux, a New Orleans native, almost didn’t get the opportunity to play football is quite shocking. Breaux was one of the top prospects out of the CFL, and the Saints were fortunate to land him.

During minicamp, Breaux saw reps on the first-team nickelback position. He can be used in a variety of ways, and will continue to see extensive work as the Saints look to find the best possible pairing. His cover skills are strong, and he has the ability to close on the ball quickly.

Having Dennis Allen as an instructor and Brandon Browner/Keenan Lewis as a mentor will help Breaux and the rest of the younger Saints secondary put things together.
