4. Stephone Anthony impresses, could be next play-caller

The Saints’ second of two first-round picks was the captain of college’s No. 1 overall defense a year ago.  At Saturday’s press conference, Sean Payton said when you see Stephone Anthony, you see that top Clemson defense.

Payton and Rob Ryan said they like Anthony not only for his size, but also for his ability to read defenses and communicate.  He could be the one making the calls on defense sooner rather than later.  The kid has a bright future as what the team believes to be the next “Mike” linebacker.
