5. The kicker battle should be a good one
Shayne Graham is currently the man holding down job as field goal kicker, but with age, comes a decline in leg power. After rookie minicamp came to a close, the New Orleans Saints signed Zach Hocker to a deal, putting the count to a total of three kickers on the roster.
Hocker will join Graham and Dustin Hopkins in a battle that could possibly result in a new guy booting the field goals and extra points in 2015. Out of the three kickers who took part in rookie camp (Hocker, Sergio Castillo, Adam Keller), Hocker is the only one who left with a contract so far. The Black and Gold must have liked what they saw from the Arkansas product and former Washington Redskins hopeful.
