3. Garrett Grayson finds a rhythm, and finds it fast

A boatload of Saints fans still question the call of spending a third-round pick on Garrett Grayson.  But should we really be questioning Sean Payton‘s decisions when it comes to quarterbacks?

This wasn’t something random.  If New Orleans didn’t have all of their trust invested in this guy, then they wouldn’t have selected him.  From everything I’ve seen, Grayson is a heck of a passer, and a perfect candidate for the role of Drew Brees‘ apprentice.

Still questioning the move?  Maybe a solid performance at rookie minicamp will help convert some of the non-believers.  There is still a ton of work to do — at least two years worth — before he’s qualified for a starting job, but I believe he’ll make a first good impression this weekend.
