5. WR Brandon Coleman
The Saints are well-known for finding bargains in the later rounds of the draft and turning them into starters. They’re also great at making a splash in the undrafted free agent market — take Pierre Thomas for example.
Coleman falls into that category after New Orleans signed him as an undrafted rookie following the 2014 NFL Draft. The former Rutgers standout has potential written all over him as a 6-foot-6 red zone threat.
He did not see a snap last season, but Sean Payton is very high on him. With Graham and Stills now out of the picture and Marques Colston on the wrong side of 30, Coleman’s talents as a big-man and potential vertical threat will be critical. Last year’s steal must emerge in the passing game — Drew Brees likes his big men.
